For many organizations, the supply chain represents the most significant risk to economic profitability or even organizational viability. The lack of an inexpensive part or service can shut down an assembly line or prevent the supply managers’ organization from meeting obligations to its customers, however many supply management organizations do not have formal supply risk mitigation programs. This presentation discusses identifying the critical risks in the supply chain and how to reduce or eliminate them.
