The 21st Annual North American Research Symposium on Purchasing and Supply Chain Management will be held at:

Registration Fee: US$295. You are responsible for your own transportation, lodging and incidental expenses. ISM programs are educational in nature. The promotion of individual organizations' products or services is strictly prohibited. ISM reserves the right to substitute speakers. If the program is not held for any reason, ISM's liability is limited to the program fee.

Guestmeals — If bringing a guest, there is an additional charge of US$25 per person for each lunch and US$35 per person for dinner.

Satisfaction with all programs is guaranteed. If you are not satisfied, a refund or free registration will be provided.

The Internal Revenue Service may permit an income tax deduction to U.S. residents for expenses (including registration fees, travel costs, meals and lodging) incurred in pursuit of continuing professional education. Consult your tax adviser for details.

If you register for a program and you are unable to attend, please notify ISM Member Services; notification of your cancellation must be in writing. No refunds are given once the program has begun. Registrants who fail to attend a program are not entitled to a refund. ISM must be contacted within 30 days of the program completion in order for a refund to be considered.


CAPS Research is offering scholarships for the Symposium. CAPS will grant up to 30 scholarships at $750 each for junior faculty members (defined as instructors or assistant professors with terminal degrees and up to 5 years in rank without tenure) and doctoral students to support participation at the Symposium. To apply for a scholarship, send your request and a letter from your department chair verifying your status within the department as a junior faculty member or doctoral student by February 1, 2011 to Debbie Maciejewski at CAPS Research, or fax 480-491-7885. Scholarship recipients must submit a document for the Proceedings, present a paper and attend the full Symposium March 17-18, 2011. Notification of scholarship awards will be made prior to the Symposium. Scholarship payment will be made after the Symposium.
