ISM Awards and Scholarships
As the professional association for procurement and supply chain professionals, Institute for Supply Management® has developed programs to recognize those who are the brightest examples of our profession. From those studying supply management principles in universities to seasoned professionals at the pinnacle of their career, these awards and scholarship programs are currently offered:
J. Shipman Gold Medal Award
The J. Shipman Gold Medal Award is ISM’s most prestigious award established in 1931 in honor of Johnson Shipman, a man known for his vision, intellect and influence on important issues. The award is presented to those individuals whose modest, unselfish, sincere and persistent efforts have aided the advancement of the supply management field.
ISM’s 30 Under 30 Supply Chain Stars
ISM’s 30 Under 30 Supply Chain Stars is a recognition program that acknowledges young purchasing/supply management practitioners for their passion, creativity and contributions to the profession. The program has been structured not only to recognize these professionals, but also to provide a support framework for continued development and success.
