Board Member - Nik Hiremath

Nik Hiremath is the former vice president, supply chain for MeadWestvaco, a global packaging solutions company. He was responsible for the global organization, which includes operations on four continents that manage sourcing and supply management for a variety of materials and services exceeding US$4 billion in expenditure.
Hiremat's broad experience in business includes marketing, information systems, creative services and, for the last 20-plus years, a focus on supply chain. He has worked for Western Publishing, Gibson Greetings, CSS Industries and PenTab, as well being both a principal in his own consulting business and a partner in a boutique consultancy focused on business process re-engineering and supply chain optimization.
He has global experience in establishing and managing sources of supply and services across Asia, Europe, Latin America and North America. He has a strong history of increasing the strategic importance of the supply chain function and building the competencies of individuals and the capabilities of organizations.
Hiremath has spoken at many supply chain conferences, has published articles and papers, and has served as an executive mentor for the R. Gene Richter Scholarship Program. He has a BS in biochemistry and an MBA in direct marketing.
