ISM Services Group Earns Top Distinction

(Tempe, Ariz.) May 28, 2013 — Institute for Supply Management™ (ISM) honored its Services Group as 2012 Group or Forum of the Year. ISM annually recognizes Group and Forum. ISM Services Group Chair Fred Ledbetter, C.P.M., accepted the award at a volunteer appreciation breakfast during ISM's 98th Annual International Supply Management Conference in Dallas/Ft. Worth.
"It is an honor to be selected as ISM's Group/Forum of the Year. We could not have achieved this distinction without the dedication and efforts of a select group of talented individuals who willingly donate their time and energy to achieve excellence," Ledbetter said. "Not only are these folks high performers, but they also exhibit the characteristics of an effective team by willingly sharing ideas and creating a cooperative environment that facilitates creative thinking."
Members of the ISM Services Group leadership team are Ellen Berry, Paul Howard, Marty Bell, Christopher Flum, Jim Haining, Marty Rutkovitz, Jewel Eldridge and Vik Goel.

ISM Groups and Forums Excellence Awards recognize those Groups and Forums that demonstrate excellence in their professional operations, educational offerings, recruitment, training and retention efforts, while at the same time communicating the value and prestige of ISM and the supply management profession. Four Groups or Forums met the level of excellence for 2012. They are:

- New York/New Jersey Forum
- Services Group
- Southwest Forum
