ISM Now Accepting Nominations for Top Supply Management Honor

Institute for Supply Management™ (ISM) accepting nominations for J. Shipman Gold Medal Award.
(TEMPE, Ariz.) September 10, 2012 — Institute for Supply Management™ (ISM) is accepting nominations for the J. Shipman Gold Medal Award. The award honors a single individual for a lifetime of contributions to the profession. The Shipman Medal is the highest honor within ISM's power to confer. Nomination deadline is January 31, 2013.
The J. Shipman Gold Medal Award was created by the Purchasing Management Association of New York in 1931, and is presented to those individuals whose modest, unselfish, sincere and persistent efforts have aided the advancement of the supply management profession. Medalists are a class of professionals who are innovators, community leaders, mentors and teachers and model the same attributes as Johnson Shipman, for whom the honor is named.
