Top Students Showcase Talents in Case Competition

(TEMPE, Ariz.) March 1, 2011 — Twenty-two students representing five universities participated in a case competition held during the 8th Annual Black Executive Supply Management Summit in Boca Raton, Florida. Presented by Institute for Supply Management™ (ISM), the three-day program, titled "Transition and Transformation: Lead the Momentum," brought together senior and middle managers to focus on the power of relationships. Student teams presented cases on the afternoon of February 9, 2011. Results of the 2011 student case competition are:

Global management consultancy A.T. Kearney provided the 2011 case study, which was judged by three senior supply management executives: Tiffany Hickerson, sourcing manager, A.T. Kearney Procurement & Analytic Solutions; G. Sean Williams, associate director, global facilities sourcing, Bristol-Myers Squibb; and Philip White, senior consultant, Nitor Partners.
